A New Chapter: Updates from Fredericksburg Friends!

We are thrilled to share some wonderful updates about our community!
We have transitioned to a new location and updated our weekly meeting format to better serve everyone. For the past weeks, we have been gathering at our beautiful new home, and we are so excited to continue this journey together. Whether you are a long-time attendee or are thinking about joining us for the very first time, here is everything you need to know about our schedule and format.
Our New Home & Meeting Time
Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fredericksburg (UUFF), we have been enjoying a wonderful new space to gather. Our UUFF hosts are an incredibly welcoming community, and we are deeply grateful to them for opening their doors to us.
- When: Every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- Where: Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fredericksburg25 Chalice Circle, Fredericksburg, VA
- Format: Unprogrammed Meeting. You are welcome to join us in person, and our doors are always open to you.
What to Expect: Our 1-Hour Format
Our meetings are open to absolutely everyone. While we are Quakers at heart, we warmly welcome people of all faiths, beliefs, and spiritual backgrounds.
To give our group the best of both worlds, our one-hour meeting is split into two meaningful parts:
- The First 40 Minutes (Silent Worship): This is a dedicated window to sit quietly, center your mind, and listen deeply. While we all live out our personal faiths in our daily lives, this quiet block is a unique opportunity to sit in collective, shared silence and tune into a deeper spiritual prompting.
- The Second 20 Minutes (Coffee & Fellowship): This block is dedicated to community and connection. We open the floor for “coffee talk”—a casual chance to chat, catch up, or discuss whatever is on your mind. If you prefer to remain in quiet reflection during this time, you are more than welcome to simply sit back and enjoy the peaceful space.
